E.V. Hunter lives on the south coast with a rescued Spanish Podenco and a voracious appetite for all types of literature. The Hopgood Hall mysteries, set in Lambourn, came about as a result of her love of horses. She visited the village to do a little in depth research and stayed in the Malt Shovel, a pub that's now sadly been turned into flats, in the grandly named Shergar suite!
