Mr Jason Mark Davies

Cardiff University (English Literature and Creative Writing BoA 22) alumni, Jason M. Davies has been opportune to try his hand at many potential "dream jobs". He's been a radio personality, disk jockey, voice actor and now, a writer and editor. Obsessed with all things strange and weird, he is a student of H.P. Lovecraft.

His first book, Necronomiconline, was originally written between 2019, and mid-2022. It is a collection of short fiction, inspired by Lovecraft, and viewed through a modern, technological lens. His second book, Before Lovecraft, collects the stories and authors which influenced young Howard in his creation of his Mythos. Works like Ambrose Bierce's "An Inhabitant of Carcosa", the complete "King in Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers, and "The Great God Pan" from his fellow Welshman, Arthur Machen, are presented in as close to their original formatting as possible. Each is introduced by Lovecraft's own words, as taken from his "Supernatural Horror in Literature" essays.
