Mark Thumann

Mark Thumann was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. He graduated from St. Xavier High School and then attended Miami University for two years before leaving for Alaska's Bering Sea- working in the commercial fishing industry for almost three decades. He lived in Arizona for over a decade -attending Arizona State University and working in the commercial real estate industry for five of those years. Mark has traveled extensively in Southeast Asia, Central America and the United States. He has an uncanny ability for encountering oddball characters and accidentally -yet enthusiastically- engaging in outlandish adventures.

He is currently working on a sequel to his debut book, and also writing a personal history of his life as a Bering Sea fisherman.
