Becky Martinez

Becky Martinez is an educator turned gardener who started First Ave Farm after growing her small backyard garden into a full urban farm complete with 500 square feet of growing space, chickens, rain catchment, and a variety of composting systems. From the author, "I am incredibly grateful for the bountiful harvest that our little farm has brought our family over the years, but it is the additional peace, healing, and space for reflection and creative-dreaming brought by our garden for which I have the most gratitude."
