John Leak

John and Colette Leak are experienced travel writers, having written successful guide books to India and Sri Lanka. They returned to London, the city of John's birth, to explore an aspect of the city missed by most visitors – and many residents too. Their interests include history, art, architecture, engineering and wildlife, and they describe it all in a lively and practical way. They describe easily planned walks to suit everyone and how to access them by public transport. John and Colette are both in their seventies and have walked every inch of the way. They live in the Scottish Borders overlooking The Cheviot range of hills.
