I am an Italian dietitian who is currently self-employed. I love cooking, dabbling in healthy and tasty recipes, playing sports, and anything outdoors that gets me moving.
Food, as Hippocrates already sensed almost 2,500 years ago, must be our medicine: used in the right way, it is a valuable ally for health. We must harness the power of food to get well and fit. That is why it is essential not only WHAT we eat but WHY we eat it! Eating well is, by no means, synonymous with sacrifice and deprivation; on the contrary, we must never give up taste!
I am also convinced that proper nutrition and exercise go hand in hand: one cannot be separated from the other to be healthy! This combination makes total well-being—both physical and mental—possible.
I graduated in Dietetics in 2007 with a grade of 110/110 cum laude and later obtained my master's degree in Nutrition and Human Nutrition, with honors, from the University of Milan.
After several years of working at hospitals and private practices in Milan, I practice freelance in Monza and Brianza.
I like to keep myself constantly updated through courses, conferences, and more. Dietetics is a constantly evolving science! This is why I am also a member of ASAND, the reference association for Italian dietitians: it protects us, represents us, and allows us to stay up to date.
Since 2017, I have also begun spreading my ideas of healthy eating and a correct lifestyle through online platforms: Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, my blog, and, now, these books.
My goal is to help as many people as possible understand how, through a change in nutrition, it is possible to maintain excellent health and prevent many diseases without having to resort to pharmacological and/or surgical remedies when it is too late.
