Hello! I'm Rachel McDaniel from Alabama, a devoted wife, mother, and an absolute Christmas fanatic. I used to guide jets as an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force, but now, I've taken a different flight path straight into the world of children's books. My debut book, "Mrs. Claus Saves Christmas Day," comes from my heart, inspired by the times I've stepped into the shoes of Mrs. Claus. It's a story where this often-unsung hero of Christmas shines brightly. I believe that behind every great Santa, there's an even greater Mrs. Claus, complete with cookies, Christmas magic, and heaps of love.

In my free time, I love traveling with my family, gardening, and creating fun content that keeps the Christmas spirit alive all year. Realizing my dream of becoming a children's book author has been an incredible lifelong journey. My hope is that my work will become a cherished Christmas classic, bringing joy to families for many years to come.
