Giulia Parola

Giulia was born in Italy but wandered off early on to gather various academic and work experiences in Germany, Spain, Morocco, as well as India.

In 2014, she settled in Munich where she earned a Master's Degree in Life Science Economics and Policy and a Ph.D. in Management. The focus of her doctoral dissertation centered on the management of European transnational partnership projects. Giulia explains her research interest in these dynamics because they remind her of the motley crew aboard the Black Pearl in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Since 2018, she has been engaged as a project manager, researcher and lecturer at a business school and its competence center, fully dedicated to bridging the gap between management research and practice.
