Mark Kinet

Mark Kinet is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychoanalyst. He was the medical director of a psychiatric hospital (1993-2010), head of its clinical psychotherapy program (1991-2023) and has been in private psychoanalytic practice since 2008 (Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium). He authored or edited 30+ Dutch language books on psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, neuropsychoanalysis and culture topics. He is the chief editor of the series Psychoanalytisch Actueel (Current Psychoanalytics), which started in 2005 and has produced an average of two books a year since then. He authored 6 books at Routledge.
