Kakoli Ghosh

Born and raised in West Bengal, India, Kakoli Ghosh resides in New Delhi. Her strongest weakness is her love for life and chocolate. She believes love is lovely. Touching her dreams every day with her writings and paintings and helping others sip their dreams like cappuccino, making them correlate and identify themselves through her stories, is her career. Quite an introvert, she is a dream addict and a strong believer in herself. She wrote her first poetry book ‘Unfinished’ when she was in South Africa and was dreaming of becoming a millionaire Painter.

Her poems and fiction, both in English and her mother tongue Bengali, have appeared in various anthologies and storybooks, published worldwide. Her winning poem has been published by the Exceller Books, India, in association with Oxford Book Store. Her recently published poetry book ‘Truly Yours’ (available on Amazon) published by Bookleaf Publications received the Emily Dickinson Award. Her latest nonfiction ‘Power of a Common Man’ published by Adhyyan Books is currently available on Amazon along with her other books like ‘Estuary’, ‘The Bridge’ (originally in English, translated in French, Spanish, and German), etc.

With a Master's in English literature, hopping and splashing through the indecisive puddles of various careers like jewelry designing, the job of a hair stylist, or teaching English, for several years, she is now a full-time writer and a painter, discovering herself every day.
