E D Skinner

E D Skinner grew up in Memphis Tennessee in the 1950s and 60s. Educated as an electrical engineer, he wrote software and developed embedded, autonomous systems using pSOS+ and VxWorks real-time operating systems, then Linux and others for similar requirements, before shifting to teaching professional engineers the same. His assignments with companies such as McDonnell Douglas, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Raytheon, and dozens of others have taken him around the world many times over.

Married since 1970, Ed and his wife live in Phoenix Arizona. He often writes in coffee shops, and when needs dictate, will conscript someone from a nearby table to perpetrate some horrific evil.
