Nisha Paliwal

Nisha Paliwal is a mother to two beautiful girls, a dreamer, and visionary technologist with a mission to bring human-centered thinking to everything she does. She has been a relentless advocate for leveraging technology and data insights to create true business value for more than 20 years.

Born in Rudrapur, India, Nisha was a disruptor from a young age, displaying an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Her deep curiosity led her to the human sciences where she thrived, earning a Master’s degree in microbiology. Her enthusiasm and intelligence put her on the path to becoming a brilliant scientist. While being lauded in her field, Nisha’s passion wasn’t science—but discovery.

She began exploring the digital space, eventually teaching herself C# programming. Nisha immersed herself deeper and deeper into the world of technology and never looked back. Maintaining her authentic roots as a heart-centered, curious-minded, life-long learner, she achieved much success in the tech space.

From entrepreneur, to CTO, to serving as an admired senior technology leader for top financial institutions for the past 15 years, Nisha has indeed cemented her place in the tech space. She now seeks to elevate and empower others by serving as a coach and mentor to emerging technology leaders.

With a passion for introducing young girls to the fascinating world of technology, she also supports several STEM-focused non profits, with a long-term vision of bringing more women into the ranks of technology leadership.

Nisha is working on different ways of generating value from AI, most notably in the non-profit sector. Specifically, she is seeking to build a scalable platform for mentoring women, and she is also exploring new ways of leveraging AI to scale diversity, inclusion, and belonging objectives.

Her perseverance, outspoken nature, and philosophy of learning, unlearning, and relearning, have forced some of the top technologists in the industry to truly examine the real business value they are creating with data.

While Nisha speaks to the importance of technology advancements, she is also working to raise awareness on how human values need to be preserved. She believes that the legacy we will leave our children is still to be invented.
