Joy Grant

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Joy Grant, is a mom and grandmother retired from the legal administrative field. From 2013 to 2016 Joy became a volunteer leader and mentor with the Atlanta based ministry Out of Darkness (now Frontline Response) and her church Free Chapel, Gainesville, Georgia. Inspired by her work as a mentor to women rescued out of sexual exploitation, she began to reflect on the patterns of abuse that she had allowed in her own life. During her time of ministry, she watched many of the women who were rescued from exploitation return to their abusers. Realizing the strength of the spiritual pull their former lifestyle had on their lives, she decided to share her testimony through writing. Joy now lives on the coast of Georgia and loves spending time withwith her adult children and grandchildren. She loves creating artwork to bless others, and of course loves the beach.Come with Joy on her personal journey from selling herself short in sexual relationships to finding her true self-worth through a firm and loving relationship with Jesus Christ. No longer does she doubt who she is or what beauty God has in store for her. Jesus turned Joy’s mess into a masterpiece, and He wants to do the same for you.
