Michael W. Taylor:
*Received both PhD and Master's Degree from the Marian University in Fond du Lac, WI. Degrees focused in curriculum and instruction leadership and educational leadership.
*Dissertation: An Autoethnographic Journey to the Self(self-study). Has since participated in several publications and more presentations; including four books: Saint and Scholars: A Journal of Irish Studies (Vol. 1, 2021); Saint and Scholars: A Journal of Irish Studies (Vol. 2, 2022); Perpetuating Joy in Affinity Spaces Through Intercultural Pedagogy. (2022); and Black Elk’s Life Speaks: “That Much…More.” Kendall – Hunt publisher. His future project slated for sometime in late 2024 is: A Metamorphosis of Orphic Gods.
*Course work in the Masters of Theological Studies program at Saint Norbert College.
*Holds active Wisconsin certification in administration (K-12 principal) and teaching (broad field social studies 7-12). Have taught full time and sub taught extensively in Catholic and public K-12 settings. Also a Catholic School Elementary/middle school principal. Prior to being hired at U Mary (presently associate professor of education – was very active as an adjunct professor at Silver Lake College, Marian University, National Louis University and Lakeland College. Have been teaching undergraduate and graduate students since spring of 2006.

*Born in Pontiac, MI; raised in Frankfort MI.
*Married to Kate (1st Grade teacher at Saint Ann Catholic School – Bismarck) and have four children: Michael (graduate of the University of Saint Thomas, MN), August (graduate of U of Mary, Bismarck, ND undergraduate in business and MBA; currently enrolled in Doctorate of Business program at U Mary), Douglas (graduate of U Mary in psychology, and currently enrolled in a graduate counseling program) and Frances (graduate of U Mary in communications); all three graduate from the University of Mary in April of 2022. Family pets- beagles– Mildred “Mille” & Bernard “Bernie.”
