After living in Eastern Europe for eight and a half years working with children at risk, Joel Klepac made his way through a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling before working in community mental health and now in a college counseling center. Beside full-time therapy practice, Joel provides supervision, facilitates workshops, teaches family systems theories to counseling students and is a Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist and IFS Approved Clinical Consultant.
He was also the art director and contributor to Common Prayer: Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals, and his latest painting exhibit was entitled, “Apparition, Brilliance and Connection” including 9 oil paintings. He has also published “Rouault’s Hope-Giving Images” for In Communion journal, “Artist in the Rubble” in the CIVA SEEN Journal, and presented the paper “The Healing Poetics of Georges Rouault: Veils of Veronica” in 2022.
