Jason Palamara

Jason Palamara, a Navy veteran, began his service in 1997, serving aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt in Operations Noble Anvil, Southern Watch, and Allied Force. After the Navy, he joined the NYPD just before 9/11, responding to Ground Zero with his recruit class. He served as a patrol cop, winning Cop of the Month and Cop of the Year, before moving to plainclothes units and the 84th Precinct Detective Squad. Promoted to detective, he was later assigned to the Cold Case Homicide Squad in 2015, where he won The Distinguished Law Enforcement Hero of The Year award for closing two cold cases over a decade old.

After retiring from the NYPD, Jason served as an NYPD peer support and volunteer crisis intervention counselor. He is a John C. Maxwell certified life coach, speaker, and trainer, and the co-founder of Living Blue Apparel. He is a husband and father of three, an Eagala Certified Professional advocating for equine-assisted psychotherapy for veterans and first responders, and a senior advisor for Deep Current Strategies leading their first responder initiatives.
