Eugene G. Spiegle

Gene is a retired Associate Professor of Professional Practice and Senior Program Manager at Rutgers Business School, Department of Supply Chain Management. He founded a Project Management consulting and organizational development firm in Bedminster, New Jersey. He has an international reputation in project management, communications, and operations management. He has over fifty years of experience in management, project management, and both line and staff positions, enabling him to deliver practical, common sense, and theory-based perspectives.

Before his position as project director for the United Nations, Gene was President of a firm specializing in automated systems and a Vice-President of a Fortune 500 company engineering. Gene holds degrees in psychology and engineering with an advanced degree in psychology.

Gene is co-founder and President of “The Pulse Factor,” a consulting organization helping organizations improve their “Performance, Productivity, and Profitability.

He also authored the “Project Management Guidelines,” a process many organizations utilize to manage their projects. Gene’s book “Taming a Silent Killer - - Your Stress” was released in May of 2002, followed by “Project Management – The Basics for Success,” and co-authored (with William McLaury), “Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management, A Practitioner’s Perspective, published in 2016 by Kendall Hunt.

In addition, he has published a series of books called “The BUM Books (Bottom-Up Management); they include No. 1 The BUM Book, No. 2 A BUM’s Project Management Guidelines, No. 3 A BUM’s Strategic Planning and Critical Thinking Approach, No. 4 A BUM’s Taming a Silent Killer - - Your Stress (second edition).

Gene currently also authors puzzle books under the name of Poppy MaGee.
