Simon Harper

Simon Harper is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist in his third decade of clinical practice, and has been an avid self-help reader for over forty years. Unsurprisingly his book will resonate with readers who are exploring the world of CBT and DBT. Being a survivor of complex trauma has led to a refreshing perspective of knowing what it is like to live with a traumatised brain. He graduated with distinction from Derby University with his Masters of Science degree in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. Simon lives in Gloucestershire, England, with his wife and two children. He can often be found chasing a ball, whether that takes the form of table tennis, pinball, tennis or golf. He continues to work on his old patterns and is still known to have the occasional existential crisis, and so the search for the meaning of life continues.

Why the polar bear for my pic?! As you will discover if you read the book, it represents the emotional brain and to be truthful, it's how I have felt deep inside for most of my life.
