Eric Mallia

Eric Mallia lives in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, where he has spent the majority of his life working on various sustainability endeavours. He is an active speaker and industry leader in sustainable technology, particularly in the areas of energy efficiency and electric vehicles.

In his early adulthood, Eric travelled extensively and taught young kids about sustainable transportation while earning his Master's degree. Before writing children's books, he published academic articles on sustainability topics as part of his education and professional career.

Eric has studied at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Waterloo, and Wilfrid Laurier University. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth athletics and likes to relax by cooking French cuisine and spending time in nature. He is the father of two boys and loves helping them to learn about the world and discovering their roles in it.
