George E. Boyer

George E. Boyer (January 9, 1935 – April 17, 2026) was an author, veteran, and storyteller whose life reflected courage, faith, family, and service. Through 22 books, he preserved stories inspired by love, military experience, and a life fully lived.

Born in Terre Haute, Indiana, George earned an Associate of Science degree from Monterey Peninsula College in California. He served honorably in the 77th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the 5th, 6th, and 7th Special Forces Groups, spending 88 months overseas in 11 countries.

He was a life member of the Special Operations Association, Korean War Veterans Association, and Military Order of the Purple Heart, and received an Editor’s Choice Award for poetry.

George was married to Geneva Priest for 60 years. Together, they raised three daughters and built a life rooted in love, resilience, and faith.

He spent his later years in Laurinburg, North Carolina. His legacy lives on through his family, military service, and the stories he faithfully preserved.
