Mr Andrew Shepperd

Andrew Shepperd is an international business leader, entrepreneur and author. He is a visiting lecturer at Imperial College Business School and regular panel judge. Andrew sits on the Imperial College Business School MBA advisory board.

He has founded a number of startups, and is currently the co-founder and director of Entrepreneurs Hub Ltd. Entrepreneurs Hub is a challenger corporate finance house in the investment banking space. The business is a disruptor, bringing for the first time, international standard corporate finance services to SME businesses in an innovative affordable package. The commercial proposition is still widely recognised as unique in M&A circles.

His latest career addition is as an Author, with his first book, Lost & Found in China. Andrew is thought to be one of the few non-Chinese people in the world, to have recently travelled across all 33 mainland provinces of China, largely by self-drive car. The adventure, spanning a number of years and many tens of thousands of kilometres’, brings a unique human perspective of this spectacular, fascinating and increasingly globally influential country.

Andrew is passionate about talent development and coaching. He has personally coached over 150 organisational leaders across his career.

He is energised about leadership and skill transfer to the next generation. This part of his motivation, further served by working through academic engagement. Andrew was a pilot member of Microsoft Ventures Incubator in London, supporting a number of young entrepreneurs start their commercial business ventures.

Before Entrepreneurs Hub, Andrew previously held international executive leadership roles with; Avaya, Azlan, Tech Data Synergy and Computer Associates. Internationally he has worked in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. As well as a career buying and selling commercial assets (M&A), he has led five successful organisational turnarounds and has contributed to strategic development of local government, and NGO’s.

Andrew is committed to sustainability and is a passionate amateur ecologist and exploratory global birdwatcher. His journeys have crossed Asia, Africa, Middle East, Australia, North and South America and Europe. He has travelled to over 70 countries.
