Hey!

I'm a life long animal lover & artist from the midwestern US. I grew up in a rural area befriending barn cats, training dogs & riding horses. I've worked with or around pets both small & large for my adult life, including a 12 year stint as a humane investigator for a local equine rescue. I'm at my happiest outdoors, exploring trails on horseback, or on my own 2 feet, with my loyal dog at my side.

As an artist I'm inspired by the natural world, folk tales, mythology, and fantasy. I generally work in a realism style, and hand draw my art using visual references to get proportions & scale correct.
