Colin S. Levy is a legal technology leader, educator, and author focused on helping legal professionals use technology in practical, meaningful ways.
He is General Counsel of Malbek, where he works at the intersection of contracts, operations, and emerging technology. In addition to his in-house role, Colin advises startups and founders across the legal tech ecosystem and supports early-stage innovation as an investor and mentor.
Colin is the author of The Legal Tech Ecosystem, co-author of CLM for Dummies, and editor of the Handbook of Legal Tech. His writing centers on how lawyers and legal teams can apply technology to improve decision-making, reduce friction, and modernize legal work. He also writes regularly for Today’s General Counsel, covering AI, legal operations, and the realities of technology adoption and is Adjunct Professor of Law at Albany Law School.
