Damien Murphy

Irish Born Writer in the South East of Ireland in Enniscorthy, County Wexford on the 10th November 1995. My love of writing began at 13 when I went to Enniscorthy Vocational College now known as Enniscorthy Community College.

So while I was in Secondary School, from September 2008 until June 2013 I wrote so many short stories about teenage secret agents and each short story was the next mission. I loved writing each one because it was great trying to plan a mission but also try and top the previous one. After all, it was what I wanted to do, to improve my writing skills.

When I left secondary I continued writing short stories for a while until I had no time to write them due to other commitments. In 2020 during the COVID lockdown, I was only working 2 days a week instead of my usual 5 days a week, so I thought I could get back to my writing.

I had only planned to write one short story to start with but I was 7 chapters deep when I realized it was no longer a short story, I was actually writing a book.

This was more fun and the plan was to write a stand-alone book but as I was nearly finished the first book, it left room for more of the story to be written.

One small idea can spread so far and create something so life changing and make life worth living. I will continue writing stories whether that is continue the ISA Chronicles or onto a different storyline or an entirely different genre until I have no stories left to write.
