Jean Healey

My name is Jean Healey, Children’s Author. I was born in Nottingham in the UK but now I live in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands. I have always had a love of writing, especially poetry and since becoming a mother I have found my passion to write children's books. Anything from board books, picture books to chapter books. I do believe that it is important for children to have books in the home. Not only do they help with their learning, but I like to see children entertained by a good story that makes them want to keep coming back and reading the story all over again. I am pleased to announce the publication of my first picture book, The Perfect Fit. Written by me, and charmingly illustrated by Marcin Poludniak. This is the story of a family in search for the home that's The Perfect Fit. A fun rhyming tale that shows how persistence may just be the key to your dreams coming true! I hope you enjoy reading it, as much an I enjoyed writing it.
