Cyman is a native of the Pacific Northwest, born in Grants Pass, Oregon, and the son of Chinese immigrants from Taishan in the Guangdong Province, has a rich cultural heritage that combines American and Chinese influences. He is re-attending the University of Washington to pursue computer science on top of his American Ethnic Studies, where he uncovered a passion for exploring the intersection between different cultures.
With a natural talent for business, Cyman's career has taken him from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups in a variety of industries. He has over 20 years of experience in real estate development and sales, mortgage lending, investment banking, management, small business ownership, restaurateur, artificial intelligence, cloud automation, and blockchain technology.
He writes about the human experience from cookbooks to business, his life’s mantra is defined with three words: significance, kaizen, and motivate. He admits, “I’ve lived my life not defined by one thing and I’m always more than what I appear to be. It has brought out a variety of gifts and passions, some I’ve shared with everyone and others I haven’t yet.”
