Mark Riddle

I’ve been in or around schools for the majority of my life: primary and secondary schools in Southern California, a brief stint in Iowa for freshman year of college before returning to California to complete a degree in Music. My first grad degree was in Illinois, but I earned a PhD back in (you guessed it) California. Higher ed jobs in Colorado, California, and now Hawaii.

The only things I’ve been around longer than schools are cats: Thomas, the family cat who grew up with me (and whose name appears in my first Amazon book); Smokey and Fuego, litter mates who saw me through high school and beyond; Lydia, a beautiful black and white cat adopted directly from a loading dock behind a hospital in Illinois… up through the current residents of the cat house.
