John Jillard

John Jillard Sr is a US Army Veteran and father of four and who has a very strong artistic side. He has worked as an independent music producer, a film writer, producer, and actor all while still holding his regular job in the Fire Protection Industry designing Sprinkler Systems for buildings and raising his kids. Though John has no formal training or schooling as an author, he started writing short stories while in the Army. One of those stories, named Battle, grew over time, and even took different forms, including as a film script. After a few years of rewriting, it eventually became shelved, and he thought it would never be released. But, thanks to his family, friends, and some members of "Project Refit", he had a rejuvenated outlook and finally put the finishing touches on his book. "Battle: Still Breathing" is his first Novella.
