Eric Grate

Eric Grate is a writer originally from Greenfield, Ohio, now living in Danville, KY.

Eric’s latest release, “The Notorious Adams Boys” is his first non fiction book. This memoir details the lives of Don, Gary, and Arnie Adams, known as The Adams Boys Band, and their time on the road with country music greats George Jones, Johnny Paycheck, Little Jimmy Dickens, Merle Haggard, Ray Price and many others. Their musical talent was matched only by their chronic inability to behave themselves.The book was released on April 28, 2026 and immediately went to NUMBER 1 in several country music categories.

His other works include “The Streets of Greenfield,” published in 2023, a short story cycle set in the southern Ohio Appalachian town of Greenfield, and “Snapshots In Time,” a collection of twenty hardscrabble vignettes published in 2024.

Currently, Eric is working on “Return to Greenfield,” another short story style that is the follow-up to “The Streets of Greenfield.”It will be released in late 2026.

What is on the horizon? A novel perhaps? Maybe another memoir or biography? We shall see!
