Pratiksha Misra

Pratiksha Misra is an author, poet, technology professional, and founder of JustUtter. Writing since the age of nine, she brings over twenty years of technology experience to her exploration of science, folklore, and the supernatural. Through her Bhoota Gappa series and 2minhorrorstories, she explores how the brain processes fear, how memories stir powerful emotions, and how storytelling helps us give shape to feelings that seem beyond our control.

Born in Rourkela, Odisha, her writing draws on ancestral stories, family memories, and the relationship between belief and human psychology. She is fascinated by the meeting of science and art: how neural activity becomes an experience of fear, grief, or love, and how a story can help us understand that experience. Now based in Media, Pennsylvania, she is a mother, runner, and animal lover who believes stories keep generations connected long after their tellers are gone.
