Stephen Cassell

The adventure of faith began in a tiny town in North-Western Illinois when Steve and his lifelong bride Kay were radically saved as just teenagers by an experiential encounter with the true nature and character of God. This was the moment everything changed for them.

Shortly thereafter, Steve and Kay moved to Fort Worth where Steve attended Bible college. While in Texas for the next fourteen years, their experience in ministry, business, management, church government, parenting, and education gave them a wealth of necessary, tangible, and intangible benefits for their Divine destiny.

Knowing that their time to go back “home” and finish the vision in ministry had dawned, in 2011 they returned to Illinois and planted Beloved Church in Lena. They embrace a deep desire to minister truths that can bring lasting change and freedom through the love, grace, and supernatural power of King Jesus and His finished work. Beloved Church has developed into a thriving discipleship culture of authentic believers in covenant commitment to one another and their Most High God. In recent years, the impact of Steve Cassell Ministeries and Beloved Church has made it possible for them to take their passion for “The Holy Cause of Liberty” around the nation and world.

Steve Cassell Ministries is built towards the goal of taking the "Whole Counsel to the Whole World". The Word and the Kingdom have a solution through Spirit and Truth for every person, nation, and ministry. The vision is to bring these solutions to those who desire to see their Divine destiny become a tangible reality.

Dr. Steve is also a professor of pastoral ministry at Covenant Theological Seminary and holds degrees from Charis Bible College, Destiny College with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and a Master of Executive Leadership, as well as a Doctor of Ministry from Covenant Theological Seminary. He is a national and internationally known speaker. He became a published author after releasing his flagship book, “Liberating the Bride: The Story of Setting the American Church Free”. This was released to much acclaim due to Dr. Steve being the first minister in the nation to fight back against the tyrannical and unlawful closure of the churches under the deceptive guise of the now infamous pandemic oppression and deception. This fight raged to the Supreme Court where the First Amendment rights he fought for were upheld and Dr. Steve was exonerated by the Judiciary.
