Saehee Um is the founder of ToonToon Korean and an English–Korean localization expert with over 19 years of experience helping global content sound natural for Korean audiences.

After years of translating stories, games, and entertainment content, she realized that language is best learned the same way it is experienced—in context. Instead of memorizing isolated vocabulary and grammar, learners develop lasting understanding through meaningful situations, natural dialogue, repeated exposure, and emotional connections.

That philosophy inspired ToonToon Korean, where learners build real Korean through captivating illustrated stories filled with authentic, everyday language.
