David R Beach

Dr. Dave Beach is the Executive Director at Four Health Family Resource Center, a non-profit providing mental health services in the West Michigan area. Dave is a retired licensed counselor who worked in the area of trauma with combat veterans and first responders. He studied counseling and theology at Mars Hill Graduate School/Western Seminary-Seattle. His award-winning dissertation was a theology of suffering written at Portland Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He also wrote curricula and taught psychology and sociology for many years.

Dave and his wife, Cynthia Beach, also a writer and longtime professor of creative writing, co-founded Soul Seasons Publishing, a ministry focused on spiritual and creative formation with a publishing arm for authors.
