Kyle Dubay

Kyle Dubay, is an artist, entrepreneur, co-founder, and the creative force behind Woodward Throwbacks, a sustainable furniture brand in Detroit, Michigan.

Kyle and his partner Bo, have recently expanded Woodward Throwbacks with a new retail arm, Throwbacks Home. Which brings furniture, vintage, and antique décor to downtown Detroiters and online shoppers.

Also head of design at Woodward Throwbacks, Kyle leads the brand's furniture design and product development. He loves bringing new life and beauty to materials that would otherwise be discarded. His main inspiration is his home city of Detroit, and the textures that exist within it. When not in the shop he spends much of his free time biking around the city and exploring the ever changing landscape.

With years of experience rehabbing and designing their clients and their own spaces, the duo's next adventure is writing their first book, Throwbacks Home Interiors, which gives a deep dive into how to incorporate found and reclaimed materials into your home, whether it is old wood saved from your home renovation or vintage found at your local antique market.
