John Kingfield

John Kingfield served as a Superior Court of New Jersey trial judge for over twenty years, retiring in 2001. Most of his judicial career was spent trying criminal trials, a number of which involved the charge of murder. He later returned to the bench as a part time judge handling criminal matters until he reached the age of eighty. His legal background includes time as a New Jersey Deputy Attorney General, County Prosecutor and partner in a small-town law firm. The River House on the Delaware is his first novel.
