Denise Sharp

I’m a proud “Noni” to four wonderful grandchildren who inspired the Okachoowa Mugwamp stories. After much encouragement from my children to write a book for our grands, I finally prayed and asked God if He wanted me to write. Just a couple of nights later, He gave me the story—and what an unexpected and joyful journey it has been!

I’m retired from what I believe was the best job in the world—serving 16 wonderful years as an elementary school secretary. My husband is a retired fire captain, and we raised our sons in Arkansas, where we still happily call home.

My hope is that you—and the little ones you read to—will love the Mugwamp as much as I do. There are more Mugwamp adventures to come, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
