Dr. Dave Schramm is an award-winning professor and Extension specialist at Utah State University, where he teaches, researches, and develops programs on the science of happiness, marriage, and family life. His happiness course at USU draws students from across campus, and his work translates decades of positive psychology and family science research into practical tools for everyday life.

Known simply as "Dr. Dave," he has delivered more than 600 presentations around the world, including at the United Nations and as a TEDx speaker. He co-hosts the Stronger Marriage Connection podcast with Dr. Liz Hale, reaching listeners in more than 100 countries.

Dr. Dave and his wife Jamie have four children and are happy grandparents. Two of his daughters, Mallory and Aubrey, co-founded Big-Time Books with him, a publishing imprint focused on journals, notebooks, and resources for hope, happiness, and meaningful living.
