Janet A Brown

Hello, fellow book lovers! My name is Janet Brown and I am so happy to have my book up on Amazon! Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Washington, DC and now live in Carroll County, MD with my husband, a retired police officer. I have had a diverse employment history. I've worked as a Production Assistant for Doubleday in NYC, was a police officer with the Prince George's County, MD PD, a corrections officer, a graphic illustrator for the US Government at Fort Meade, MD, and ended my career as an Intelligence Analyst, also at Fort Meade. I was in the US Army Reserves, 11th Special Forces. In my younger days, I enjoyed Civil War reenacting and all things history! As far as crafts, I've done most of them from sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc., and also enjoy stained glass, pottery, basket weaving, etc. My husband and I recently sold our old farm where we had horses, chickens, goats, dogs, cats, and some friendly mice in the ancient attic! But now, I have been enjoying writing and am currently working with an editor for my second book, and a third is rolling around in my brain, awaiting its escape.
