Luca Sciacchitano

Born in 1975, with a degree in science and technology of the arts and modern linguistics, Luca Sciacchitano lives and works in Trapani where he is the owner of an advertising company and administrator of an English school.

A very active social figure, he has written for various local and national newspapers.

He published the novel "Le Ombre di Nahr" in 2015, which was followed in 2017 by the novel "Fatima – quasi alla fine del mondo".

"Il Mistero dei Seleka" (2019) is his third novel, set in the same narrative universe as Le Ombre di Nahr.

In 2024 the essay "Bulimismo e decrescita, come il consumismo bulimico ci sta rubando la vita" was published.

In 2025 he published the essay "Il Pelecidio, perchè è moralmente giusto criticare Israele".

Sciacchitano has also published several photographic collections including "Fiori Appassiti + Esili" and "Ordo Ab Chao"
