Dave is the author of about a dozen unfinished novels who turned to memes when he finally gave up on his dreams of being a writer of anything longer than a few sentences. He has created several popular and influential Instagram meme accounts over the years, the most popular being @disappointingaffirmations, and the most niche being @nickcaveandthebadmemes, @sadpeaks, and @dondrooper.

He lives in New York with his neuroses.
