Georgina Wright

Georgina Wright spent many years in classrooms with young people encouraging creative writing, wide reading and lots of drama. She then spent some time living in a woodland in southern Spain and began a nature blog, poetry and novel writing. Navaselva, The Call of the Wild Valley is her debut novel and features wild birds and other species and is about wildlife, the search for habitats and the human characters who want to protect and restore the amazing biodiversity of the natural world.

She likes to write from the point of view of the wild world and for a variety of readers who are curious about nature. Her first short story published is in the Evergreen anthology published by Bridge House. This is from the perspective of a young rooted Christmas tree and its fate once the bright lights are taken away.
