Why read my book?
These stories are true-to-life adventures.
With the Pacific Sail, you’ll sail across the Pacific on a three masted ship like those used 100 years ago, from Hawaii to the Marshall Islands, sharing the work of bow watch, fishing, taking the helm. Once at the Marshalls, we venture to the remote atolls and help with medical care on the atolls. The story then takes you to the South Pacific Island nation of Vanuatu, the last holdout of cannibalism. Experience swimming with a Dugong, standing at the lip of a live volcano, and dance in a ceremony celebrating the passage into manhood of three local young men.
Take a trek in Thailand and Burma. Climb a waterfall on elephant back, experience a night hike through the Burmese jungle, smoke a bit of opium in a remote hill village.
Then an adventure where the journey is half the adventure. This story will take you from Peshawar, Pakistan to Lahore, then the Taj Mahal, down to Mombasa, and by ferry to Goa. Each day and unplanned adventure. And then relax on a beach in Goa. Swim in a green, iridescent bay, lit up by bioluminescent phytoplankton.
Climb a rock spire in Colorado, canoe a remote river in Florida and weather a tropical storm in Key West.

I am a traveler and an adventurer as a life preference. These stories are authentic stories, born from my travels.
I became a Physician Assistant in order to help people and use my knowledge to travel the world. Over the years I have both visited and lived on 4 continents.
As a medicine man I let it be known that I was available for medical projects anywhere in the world. If it involved going to a place I hadn’t ever been to, I’d go. The wilder, the more remote, the better.
If it was a project that would be difficult, or ‘couldn’t be done’, I’d go. The more difficult, the better.
Best yet was when it involved both.
My motto was “Have Stethoscope, Will Travel”.’
