Barbara Raw

Author Barbara Raw, an avid reader herself of Historical Highland Romances, lives on the stunning North York Moors, UK. Having spent most of her life around farms with the family and College education at Bishop Burton, she welcomes the uniqueness and solitude of the Moors. It has always given her inspiration and feeling for her books.

Later in life, motherhood changed her career direction and she became a College Lecturer PT Tutor in Early Years Childcare and Play work delivering courses at Foundation Degree Levels.

Now in mid life, Barbara enjoys creative writing and Bird Photography out on the Moors, especially Barn Owls. She is also a lover of animals and her own Collie x Kelpie is often riding out with her on her travels.

Barbara is a proprietor of her own business, Home Baked Produce, which is often seen about the local Markets and special events throughout Yorkshire. Have you tried one of Barbara's Cupcakes?
