Stephanie D. Cade

Stephanie D. Cade is a Birmingham, Alabama native. She was raised by her

parents, Tommie and Lisa Speights. Her grandmother, Mary Frazier also played a

significant role in her upbringing. Stephanie was educated in Birmingham City Schools.

She graduated from A. H. Parker High School in 1994. At the age of 39, Stephanie decided to

further her education and attended Lawson State Community College where she earned an associate

degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham

earning a bachelor’s degree in English/Literature. Stephanie raised five children as a single parent.

Her children are indeed close to her heart. Writing is something that she always wanted to explore and now is the time.
