Alexxis Steele

Alexxis Steele is an American actress, author,vocalist, writer, Station Manager for Rocking The Valley Radio,and host of The Dynamic Divas Show. She is host of her own nationally syndicated show Music 101 With Alexxis Steele on IHeartRadio, Spotify and YouTube.

Alexxis got her start in front of the camera early on as an "Ivory Snow Baby", winning a succession of child modeling contests as well. During her elementary school years, she performed in various school plays, and developed a taste for character acting, which would later spill over into her vocal performances. As a student in drama class in both Jr. High, and high school, she won awards for creating soap operas and commercials in her classes.

Alexxis Steele knows the music business, first hand, since she herself grew up in the industry. Her father was a drummer/vocalist who performed in the Army's USO shows with comedian Bob Hope,and performed with stars like Frank Sinatra and Jack Klugman from The Odd Couple. Her father replaced Frank Sinatra with a one year stint as a member of the Big Band Era's trumpet player Harry James Orchestra.

Brought into the business at the age of 3, she started off in a succession of Philadelphia talent contests , singing with his bands by age 9, and continuing into her teenage years, winning many vocal contests. At the age of 15 , she was offered a position as a backup singer on tour for the band Chicago, which she was not able to take, due to leaving the area for an extended time would mean quitting school to go on the road.

After leaving the Philadelphia area, and eventually moving to the Lehigh Valley, she started performing with her own bands in 1983. Fast forwarding into the late 90's , she began working for local Indie Record label- B.I.E. Records, which spring boarded her into a 5 year position as Executive Director of The Lehigh Valley Music Awards, from 2001- 2006, through industry comrade, Ian Bruce.

Also during these years she worked as a talent scout and judge for Antares Production, having the opportunity to help discover, promote and foster the growth of new talent, as well as becoming part of local musical history by being included in the book "Reelin in the Years", Lehigh Valley Music Vault, 1960-1990.

In 2009, Alexxis received her first Lehigh Valley Music Award for over 20 years of her musical service contribution. In 2011 she launched Steel Entertainment & Records LLC, talent booking agency,and indie record label Steel Records, along with Steel Global Entertainment BMI Music Publishing & ASCAP based Steel Songs Worldwide. In 2012, Alexxis branched out into radio on Rok Out Radio station and started her now nationally syndicated show on IHeartRadio & Spotify, interviewing national recording artists, actors, and music industry icons, called Music 101 With Alexxis Steele.

2014 was a fruitful year, as she launched not only her international magazine- Steel Notes, but also joined forces with Dreamcatcher Multimedia, and acted in the mob film- "You Can Hear Me" She also received credit for casting and wardrobe of the film. Working with her Steel Pulse Models, she became wardrobe stylist on Model Mayhem.

In 2014, Alexxis also started Steel Waves Radio, plus Steel Pulse Tv, and in 2016 she launched her live local show "The Dynamic Divas show with Lexxi & Josie, with her co-host, Josie Janci. The Divas and their show were nominated for several awards each year and were honored at LVMA#20 on March 3rd, 2019 by receiving an award for Outstanding Internet/Cable Broadcast Personality. Alexxis also received an industry award for her participation as a former Executive Director of The Lehigh Valley Music Awards. In March 2020, she was honored once again with another award for being a music industry supporter for over 20 years.

Given her many years experience in the music industry, she has not only the knowledge of what it takes to be successful, but also the ability to spot talent, and develop it, which landed her positions working for Music Xray and Music Submit, for radio airplay and mentoring. In 2023, she was kept busy with her new projects, “Dreams” The Ultimate Stevie Nicks/Tom Petty/Fleetwood Mac Experience," and 15 Minutes of Fame Karaoke with her Divas partner Josie Janci.

In January 2024 she finally realized her dream by publishing her first long awaited children’s book in a series titled “Adventures In Dogville". The book is based from some real life events of her dogs and cats, that starts with their birth,and navigating life in their family,bringing 2 cats with them into their adventures. Every book in the series will teach a lesson learned, that children can take away from the experience, and incorporate into their own lives. The book is available in all formats on Amazon platforms, along with a new a Kindle E- Book titled " The Little Gray Mouse". Alexxis is also still pursuing other writings, such as her autobiography,and other books as well.
