Sean Ma

Sean Ma has helped countless students gain admission to Ivy League schools and other elite universities. He’s the President of Shanghai Leighton School and the Founder of Ma Academy, an institution specializing in preparing top students for college. He holds a BA and MA from Columbia University.

Sean’s career began as a financial advisor, but his passion for education led him to transition into admissions counseling. With over fifteen years of experience, he has assisted countless students in gaining admission to Ivy League schools and other prestigious universities such as Stanford, Caltech, Oxford, and Cambridge. He has also supported numerous student-athletes in securing recruitment into top NCAA programs across various sports.

Currently residing in Asia, Sean pursues a balanced lifestyle of fitness, travel, and adventure—he is currently planning to fly a small aircraft across the continents. Most of all, he loves helping students make their college dreams come true.
