Carol MacHendrie

Carol MacHendrie MSW, LCSW has practiced family and individual therapy for over four decades. She has a BA from Hofstra University, MSW from Syracuse University, and extensive post-graduate training in family therapy. She taught undergraduate and graduate classes on a variety of social science topics as adjunct faculty at Syracuse University School of Social Work and the College of Santa Fe.

As a facilitator of ADHD workshops and groups for the past twenty- five years, she has specialized her work to focus on couples where one or both partners has ADHD. Carol has presented at national and international conferences on a variety of topics. She remains passionate about creating change through meaningful relationships and bringing forth each individual’s gifts. She practices and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico which has proved a wonderful environment to be a different drummer.
