Eric Gonzalez

Eric Gonzalez is the founder and president of Northern Passage Leadership Development, LLC. and a 1997 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He gained 20 years of leadership experience as a U.S. Air Force officer where he commanded an E-3 Sentry "AWACS" flying squadron, and as a Deputy Group Commander, supervised flying operations and training for F-22 Fighter squadrons and a C-17 Air Mobility squadron. Eric was a Command Pilot, logging over 220 Combat Hours and over 250 Combat Support Hours in various overseas operations. During his tour as a Regional Affairs Strategist at United States Southern Command, he coordinated political-military engagements with Latin American Military Dignitaries. Eric also served as a Legislative Liaison officer, where he advised Air Force General Officers on legislative matters and congressional engagements.

Following his retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2017, Eric joined Alaska Airlines as a First Officer. He flew the Boeing 737 throughout the Alaskan Arctic, Pacific Ocean, and United States. He has a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Regent University in Virginia and is fluent in Spanish. Eric currently serves on the board of the El Paso Christian Home School “Panthers,” a youth athletics and sports organization for El Paso area homeschool students. Eric resides in El Paso, Texas with his wife, Liz and their four children.
