Susan Schrott

Susan Schrott is an artist, psychotherapist, and certified yoga instructor. She specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and is an Eating Disorder Supervisor from the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. Susan received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the City University of New York and her Master of Social Work from New York University.

She began her artistic career studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, the School of American Ballet, and Martha Graham and pursued a career in musical theater. She performed regionally and originated numerous roles with the Jewish Repertory Theatre in New York City. Following her career in theater, Susan transitioned to building a private clinical practice where she has been treating clients for over thirty years.

Susan’s artwork has gained national recognition and received numerous awards, notably a first-place award from the Pen + Brush in New York City. She lectures and teaches at various venues. Her artwork appears in institutions both in the United States and abroad, permanent installations, and in private collections. Her work has been selected for publication in textile magazines and art books.
