Andreas Lipkow

Andreas Lipkow was born in Berlin in 1972. He completed his trainee program at Dresdner Bank in Berlin. After his training, he began working as a stockbroker/market maker at brokerage firms and securities trading houses.

During his time as a trader and market maker, Lipkow gained extensive experience in the financial markets. He traded stocks, bonds, derivatives, and other financial products. It was a tumultuous time marked by events such as the Asian crisis, the bursting of the dot-com bubble, the US mortgage crisis, and the Eurozone crisis.

While on the trading floor and in trading rooms, Lipkow continuously educated himself about the financial markets. His interest and fascination grew steadily. He read books on finance and attended seminars and conferences, wanting to learn more about the functioning of financial markets and the opportunities and risks of investments and trading strategies.

Lipkow began developing his own investment strategies. He was successful and was able to consistently increase his returns. He increasingly delved into algorithmic trading.

From 2012 to 2016, he served as CEO of a proprietary trading firm focused on computerized trading, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and continuous development of the fully automated trading systems of the corporation.

In 2017, he contributed to the Platow Prognosis 2018 - Comeback for Europe.

Today, Lipkow is a well-known public speaker and seminar leader on finance, trading, and investment topics. Since 2023, he has been a lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

In 2024, Lipkow published his first book on finance.

Lipkow is not only a successful trader and investor but also a passionate author who wants to share his experiences and knowledge with others to help them achieve their financial goals.
